Policy and advocacy

Shape the future of engineering

Member delivered policy and advocacy empowers our members, office bearers and volunteers to play a lead role in policy development and advocacy.

This approach provides more opportunities for members to lead policy and advocacy development with limited employee support and will enhance Engineers Australia's visibility and influence in driving change in areas that matter to the profession.

Member initiatives could include submissions, discussion papers and briefing notes, the development of guides, tools, and public campaigns, or fostering collaboration with other organisations
