Standards Australia is updating the AS 4000 General Conditions of Contract standard. This is a standard form contract that provides an effective and trusted solution widely used in the construction industry for more than two decades. The updates to the contract align with common best practice in modern contracts and reflects changes in legislation over the last 25 years.
The updated AS 4000 is now available for public review and feedback. We will also be hosting a webinar on Tuesday 23rd of April to explain the project development process and discuss changes proposed in this update.
