As the dust settles on last week's Excellence Awards local events held across Australia, I want to take a moment to acknowledge the tremendous effort and dedication of the wonderful teams who contributed to making these events a resounding success.

The 2024 Engineers Australia Excellence Awards program was meticulously streamlined and enhanced to shine a brighter spotlight on the best in our profession, offering a prestigious awards experience highly valued by both members and industry. I’m proud to share that across nine events, we celebrated 250 outstanding nominees and welcomed over 1,300 attendees—a testament to the program’s impact and the esteem in which it’s held.

From the very start, we set out to deliver meaningful outcomes, and the response from our members and industry partners has clearly demonstrated the value these awards bring to EA’s profile and brand. This achievement is something we can all take immense pride in.
