To the extended Biomedical Community,
The EA Biomedical College would like to invite you to collaborate with us on a number of activities to better connect and contribute to supporting the Biomedical Engineering community.
In particular, we extend an invitation to contribute to identifying the roles and functions of Biomedical Engineers across a list of sectors in Australia. We welcome any feedback, proposed input or suggested changes to the draft provided on EAXchange.
This document is intended to be used as a resource but will also act as a fundamental platform from which to develop several support documents to be drafted and published by the Biomedical College. Pipeline documents include core competency guidance for the Biomedical Engineering Area of Practice (Stage 1 and Stage 2) and skills and workforce assessment. It will also assist with prioritisation of focus groups and communities of practice, CPD program design and policy and advocacy areas of interest.
Please contribute comments, feedback and small suggestions via comment on EAXchange, and submit any more detailed feedback via email to [email protected].
We will close this consultation round by end November and aim to publish the finished document on our website by January 2024.
