I would like to invite all South Australia fire safety professionals to the Engineers Australia Society of Fire Safety (SFS) SA/NT half-day presentation on Thursday October 10. Speaker list is in the process of being finalised but include Sarnia Rusbridge and Nate Lobel on what SFS are up to nationally; Dr Jonathan Barnett will discuss what it means to be a professional engineer, especially important given the upcoming SA Professional Engineers Bill; Blair Stratton will impress on you the importance of holistic design.
If you're a fire safety engineer, member of the fire service, fire services designer, fire systems installer, building certifier, building policy maker, or otherwise have an interest in things fire safety, please use this link to register: ID - Society of Fire Safety - SA Fire Safety Seminar (cvent.com)<u5:p></u5:p>
The event is free for all, but morning coffee and catering can only be provided if we know you're coming 😉 We hope to see as many members of #SFS #IFE #AIBS #FPAA and other sister societies as possible, believing that we all share a common goal.
A big thank-you to Cara Heathcote and Engineers Australia for all the work in the background, and the SFS SA/NT Committee for your time and dedication, but a special gold star must go to Andrew Braham and SAMFS for going the extra mile in making this happen.
Looking forward to seeing you all there.
Cheers
