This webinar is being presented by Bruce Wymond, a Director at Global Infrastructure Anti-Corruption Centre (GIACC) Australia. GIACC is an international network of independent, not-for-profit organisations which develops and promotes anti-corruption measures for the infrastructure sector.
Bruce is also the Executive Director and Founding Partner at Inhabit and in that role leads a specialist professional engineering team with capabilities in Structural Engineering, Facade Engineering, BMU's and Access Systems, Acoustics, ESD and Lighting. His key focus is on integrated design, value engineering and constantly raising the bar in design and construction of buildings across Asia and Australia.
For courses on Engineering Ethics, an essential ingredient involves an examination of 'Engineers Australia Code of Ethics', to understand the line between honest and dishonest behaviour, and the activities that lead to corruption.
The objectives of this webinar are to raise awareness, through exploring professional standards and anti-corruption resources that are essential to the integrity of the engineering profession.
These resources have been developed by government and non-government organizations, in Australia and internationally, and together they provide a solid framework for raising ethical standards.
